Labuschagne Dropped from Australian ODI Team Against India

The Australian selectors have left out Labuschagne from the three-game ODI series facing India, with in-form Queensland colleague Matt Renshaw receiving a unexpected call-up.

Recent Form Lead to Omission

Selectors dropped Labuschagne from the one-day international squad after being dismissed for one in his two batting efforts during the recent series against South Africa in August. He has a highest score of 47 in his last 10 ODI batting appearances.

The batsman has played 68 one-day internationals and amassed 1,871 ODI runs at an batting average of 34.64, but will now focus on earning a return to the Test side in time for the Ashes beginning in Perth on 21 November.
